    Navalis Orthosal Zinc Dog

-complementary food for dogs and cats-

    Our natural support.

Zinc for skin, immune defense, and senses.

Organic micronutrient product to balance a zinc deficiency.

Only specific organic zinc complexes for optimal bioavailability in the body.

Zinc is required in numerous enzymatic systems as a cofactor and is an integral part of over 200 proteins.

Approximately 50-60% of the zinc in the body is stored in muscle tissue.

The metabolism of fats and carbohydrates, the synthesis of hormones (insulin, growth, and sex hormones),

cell regeneration, the epidermal skin barrier, wound healing, as well as vision and healthy immune defense all depend on adequate zinc supply.

    Nutritional additives per kg:
3b607 Zinc (Glycine zinc chelate hydrate)* 8,000 mg

    Feeding recommendation:
Give 1 measuring spoon (1.5g) per 10 kg body weight of the dog daily.
Based on experience, feeding should be done over a period of at least three to six months.

    Important note:
There are interactions between trace elements and minerals, so deficiencies in other elements can potentially be induced.

If feeding other elements in high doses simultaneously, the feeding should be distributed throughout the day

(e.g., Orthosal Zinc in the morning, Orthosal Selenium in the evening).

    Feeding advice:
Due to the increased trace element content compared to complete foods,

this complementary food should only be fed to dogs up to 2.5% of the total daily ration.

    Note:
Zinc deficiency often occurs in dogs due to breed-specific or dietary reasons (e.g., BARF diet).

Zinc supplementation also serves to strengthen the immune defense.
