Selenium, the antioxidant element. Organic micronutrient product to compensate for a selenium deficiency. Exclusively specific organic selenium complexes for the best possible availability in the organism.

Selenium is essential for a healthy thyroid gland, in the event of a nutritional deficiency (e.g. BARF feeding, high-fat rations) or high performance demands. In addition, along with vitamins A, C and E and zinc, selenium is one of the most important antioxidants with an important function for the immune system.

    composition:

Carrots, flaxseed, turmeric (Curcuma longa), vegetable oil (flaxseed, cold-pressed)

    analytical components:

    Protein 20.40%
    Fat 9.10%
    Fiber 7.90%
    Ash 4.40%

    Nutritional additives per kg:

Selenium yeast from Saccharomyces cerevisiae NCYC R397 inactivated (3b811)* 20 mg
Feeding recommendation: Daily 1 measuring spoon (corresponds to 1.5 g) per 10 kg body weight of the dog. Experience has shown that feeding should take place over a period of at least 3-6 months.

There are interactions between trace elements and minerals.

In this way, a lack of other elements can be induced.

When feeding other high-dose elements at the same time, feeding should be spread out over the day (e.g. orthosal zinc in the morning, orthosal selenium in the evening).

Feeding information: Due to the increased content of trace elements compared to complete feed, this supplementary feed may only be fed to dogs up to 2.5% of the total daily ration.

Note: The selenium supply varies depending on the feed, selenium availability and type of feeding. Supplementation is also useful in situations where there is a greater need, such as high-fat rations, high performance demands and to support hypothyroidism or the metabolism in the event of seizures.
